Abstract(in English) This paper gives an overview of the theory of Cooperative Learning within the realm of learner autonomy. It then demonstrates several case studies of the practice of Cooperative Learning in the presenter's classroom in various types of courses of EFL (English as a Foreign Language). Specifically, the purposes of the implementation of such CL activities, the types of thinking, language and study skills focused on, and variations of the activities will be discussed. This paper will also address some of the common concerns on the use of CL in language curricula, such as testing and evaluation, classroom management and the training of teachers.
