Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize a 1kW class high-average power solid-state laser driver (HALNA100, 100J at 10Hz) for the inertial fusion energy, thermally compensated Faraday rotator and Faraday isolator should be used. Thermally induced birefringence in Faraday rotators under laser-light loading has been measured. Detailed experimental results will be presented, which will be useful when designing the thermally compensated Faraday rotator and Faraday isolator.
