Abstract(in English) This paper presents the computer simulation results on a method of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for W-CDMA macro-cell BS (Base Station). We show the improvement method of the previously reported one that uses only a path-combined signal. Our DOA estimation method can reduce complexity rather than the conventional method that uses signals at individual path timings after de-correlation. Simulation results show that two modified methods have better performance than the previously reported method under multi-path fading environment (There are three equal level paths which direction differs 20 degrees each other and have angular spread of 1,5 or 10 degrees).
