Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the performance of STC (Space-Time Coding) for broad band MIMO-OFDM systems. STC realizes transmission diversity by dividing transmitted sequences into plural antennas and time slots. But STC is difficult to apply to practical systems because it generally uses MLD to decode signals. We propose a new STC scheme that doesn't use MLD and exhibit its performance by computer simulations under AWGN and fading environment. As a result, it is revealed that proposed STC can improve PER performance effectively using FEC with a weight factor in fading channels.
