Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a pitch estimation method of musical instrument sounds for transcription using the comb filters based on elimination of the pitch and its harmonic frequencies. But, because of the percussion sound that has not pitch frequency and its harmonic frequency, it was difficult to estimate the pitch of the sounds that include percussion sound by the previous method. In order to avoid this problem, first we reduce the component of the percussion sound using a bandpass filter and then we estimate the pitches using the parallel connected comb filters. We can estimate the pitches of a musical sound by detecting the smallest output of twelve comb filters connected in paralle. Using the proposed method, we show the pitch estimation results of musical sounds that include the percussion sound.
