Abstract(in English) | Basic characteristics of a short-ended λ/2 resonator and their applications to bandpass filters(BPFs) made of a coplanar waveguide(CPW) are discussed. The first part of this paper gives the essence of the improvement of out-of-band characteristics of the BPF by basic characteristics of a tapped resonator. Secondly, a new BPF with attenuation pole using short-ended λ/2 CPW resonators above is proposed and realized. It is confirmed that our principle is useful for improving out-of-band characteristics of the BPF using the short-ended λ/2 CPW resonators without the complicated filter design. |
