Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A short-circuited 3dB coupler can be used as a 3-terminal circuit. In this paper the bandwidth of the short-circuited 3dB NRD-guide coupler is examined for wide applications of NRD-guide which is recognized as an excellent millimeter-wave transmission medium. As a result of numerical calculation made by changing structural parameters, it is found that the coupling region has to be localized in order to maximize the bandwidth. The theoretical results have been confirmed by experiment.
