Human Pose Estimation from Point Cloud for Surface Reconstruction

Abstract(in English) We propose a method for pose estimation of human body from the measured data, represented in the form of point cloud for surface reconstruction. In this method, we calculate the density of point cloud and make volume data. Then a human model, which consists of cylinders and hemispheres, is matched to the volume data. When the point cloud has deficit of data, a pose of human body enough to the surface reconstruction has been estimated.
