Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are challenging to transmit and to reproduce the high order sensation of Audio-Visual. We will describe a new research method, newly discovered physical factors, developed some pilot systems, and evaluation for the pilot system. Researchers or engineers, who develop a Audio-Visual system for the high order sensation, are asked to love music and images and to be able to assess music and image deeply. Then, they will be able to discover unknown important physical factors or characteristics by deep insight into the reproduced test resources which contain the high order sensation, and by deep psychophysical consideration combined with their knowledge on the music and image. And they can develop Audio-Visual considering the discovered factors. They must not compromise until a sufficient quality system is obtained. We have discovered two unknown factors for music and six unknown factors and characteristics for image. We are developing extra high quality imaging systems considering discovered factors and characteristics. The developed pilot systems are highly evaluated.
