Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents performance evaluation of adaptive downlink beamforming for multimedia TDD-CDMA systems. The adaptive downlink beamforming determines the transmission weights so that the total transmitted power is minimized under a power-controlled CDMA system. In the decision process of downlink beamforming, each user's target signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR), the number of RAKE fingers, and the characteristics of orthogonal spreading codes are considered. Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces transmitted power of base station and enhances the capacity of multimedia CDMA systems.
