Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present a new type of block convolutional codes(BC-codes)based on Reed-Solomon codes and super-imposed codes for correcting burst errors and discuss on the performance of the codes. Futher we show that the BC-codes with our proposed decoding methods are superior to the conventional RS-codes on compound channel. Consequcntly, using our proposed methods, BC-codes with lower decoding error probabilty compared with the convcntional RS-codes can be constructed.
