Abstract(in English) | A novel projection tube with double electron beam has been developed. It has some superiorities: the luminance is nearly twice higher than conventional projection tube at same resolution, in other words, the resolution is much higher than conventional at same luminance, as well as, the damage of phosphor screen for over load could be reduced. All above are due to double electron beam hitting on each pixel two times during a scanning cycle. In this paper, new technologies are studied: the one is the electrostatic focus P-CRT with double beam adopting new approach for designing free astigmatism of electron optical system, and the other is applying digital delay circuit for the synchronization of two image signals which drive two electron beam respectively. The principle of the design with multi-beam P-CRT also could be suitable. |
