Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multimedia ambiance communication refers to a means of shared-space communication, that uses images captured by video and digital still cameras, combined with the laws of perspective, as used in painting, and the characteristics of human visual perception, to establish a photo-realistic quality Three-dimensional image space. "Our goal is to create a more realistic shared-space by basing it on actual images rather than on accurate Three-dimensional image spaces, such as those used in computer graphics. This paper addresses image processing and image representation for this photo-realistic quality Three-dimensional image space.
