Abstract(in English) NASDA conducted the Japanese first onboard GPS receiver(GPSR) experiment,with the Orbital Reentry EXperiment(OREX).The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the function and the performance of the GPS navigation system during the orbit and the reentry phase. GPSR on OREX,newly developed for this experiment,performed the signal acquisition and the measurement as expected.Although the onboardGPS navigati on was not successful,the orbit of OREX was determined by off-line,GPS navigation analysis in cooperation with NAL.Effect of SA was evaluated by DGPS navigation with ground station.GPS navigation with precise ephemeris made a good result.
