Geographic Information Distribution Method to Location-aware Buffers in Road Vehicle Communications

Abstract(in English) The rapidly expanding technology of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) and wireless data networks recently has given mobile users the capability of accessing networks while roaming. But the instability of wireless communication lowers the communication efficiency seriously. In this paper, we propose a road vehicle communication system using location-aware buffer to provide location information efficiently to roaming users. In the system, we also propose a distribution method using the geographic access locality of location information to realize an efficient usage of location-aware buffers. Then we evaluate the performance of the proposed system and distribution method by doing a simulation on a model close to the realistic traffic roads environment.
