Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a CDMA multi-stage interference canceller with recursive channel estimation based on symbol replica processing, which can reduce the amount of the replica additions and the replica memory, and it can improve the cancellation performance in severe multipath conditions. Furthermore, in order to reduce the demodulation processing delay, a serial/parallel hybrid canceller using a cancellation moderating factor is proposed, which can achieve almost the same cancellation performance as that achieved by the conventional serial canceller.
