Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report analyzes the cutoff rate performance for space diversity in Rayleigh fading channels without channel state information (CSI). Selection combining (SC), maximal ratio combining (MRC) and equal gain combining (EGC) are considered as diversity combining techniques. For these schemes, the Chernoff factors are derived in a correlated Rayleigh fading channel without CSI. From the theoretical analysis, it is shown that space diversity with each combining technique in Rayleigh fading channels without CSI is effective for MPSK signal sets in terms of cutoff rate.
