Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new method for designing variable infinite impulse response (IIR) filters whose coefficients are determined as multi-dimensional (M-D) polynomials of spectral parameters. However, to guarantee the stability of the resulting variable IIR filters, some appropriate measure must be taken. In this paper, we first transform the denominator coefficients into another set of variables, then the new variables are determined as M-D polynomials. As a result, the stability of the designed variable IIR filters is always guaranteed.
