Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SDM (Space Division Multiplex)-COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system has been proposed to improve the frequency utilization efficiency. In this system, transmit signals which have the same carrier frequency are transmitted simultaneously. At the receiver, the signals are divided into each transmit signals by interference canceller. However, when there is the carrier frequency offset between the transmitter and receiver, the orthogonality of subcarrier between the SDM signals becomes lost and the performance degrades. In this paper, a new AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) scheme for SDM-COFDM system is Proposed. The proposed scheme enables to user common carrier frequency by averaging the estimated frequency error of each receiver. It is clarified that proposed scheme improves PER performance in the frequency selective fading environment by using computer simulation.
