Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The paper proposes a new dual-mode fading compensation scheme under fast fading environments for OFDM transmission. In the proposed scheme, the compensation direction is switched on the boundary of the fading distortion point in a frame in order to reduce the burst error which occurs after the boundary. The fading distortion point is detected by comparing the received sub-channel signal level with the appropriate threshold. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces the burst error and provides the better BER performance comparing with that of the conventional dual-mode compensation scheme under fast fading environments.
