| 抄録(和) | 本稿では, 視覚障害者のための代行機器の歴史と現状, 盲人におけるイメージ・空間の表現と理解についての心理学的知見, 盲人による環境の理解を支援する際に何を考慮すべき点と工学・技術(特にコンピュータビジョン)の役割, および著者らの視覚代行・補助の研究について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper describes the history of research and development of vision substitution and aids for the visually handicapped, psychological knowledge on blinds' representation and recognition of image and environment, engineering points to be considered in helping the blind to acquire spatial awareness along with the role of computer vision, and the researches on vision substitution and aids by our laboratory. |
