Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a system of real-time human body posture estimation and it's representation on CG characters. The estimation of human body postures takes 2 steps. At fisrt, by bottom-up approach the system approximately finds human feature points such as hands and feet. Secondary, top-down approach estimates a human body posture by matching differencial image and a human model optimized to user's object. At this time, the system creates motion-blurimage by which motion vectors are calculated, and uses the vectors as its constrain condition to enhance matching precision. Experimental model haveshown effectiveness of this system.
