| 抄録(和) | 膨大な量の映像メディアを効率良くブラウジングするためには、人間にとって理解し易い形で映像を提示する必要がある。本稿では、音と映像の特徴を利用した映画のシーン分割手法を提案する。音による分割処理では、バックグラウンドノイズに注目する。音量レベルおよび周波数スペクトルを基にバックグラウンドノイズの変化を調べ、シーンの変化点を検出する。また、映像による分割処理では、粗い分割のヒストグラムを用い、複数ショットにわたる解析によって大まかな色の変化を調べる。各結果を統合する際に、音楽の存在区間および映像効果(フェイド、ディゾルブ)の有無を利用して精度を高める。数本の映画に対する実験から、音および映像を統合評価することの有効性を示す事が出来た。 |
| 抄録(英) | Scene-based parsing of video data will give us a comprehensive and usable video browsing. In this paper, a framework of scene boundary detection is proposed in which based on the evaluation of both audio and video features. In the audio processing, we concentrate in background noise. It is detected and characterized by the amplitude and the spectral features. In the video processing, coarse histograms are used to evaluate the transition of color among successive shots. Finally, the results of audio and visual evaluation are integrated along with the section of music and the position of visual effects(fade or dissolve)to determine scene boundaries. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that using both audio and video features improves the accuracy of scene boundary detection. |
