Abstract(in English) The number of 3-dimensional virtual space applications in the Internet, such as virtual museum, is increasing rapidly. Consequently, it is important to support the users that they can effective1y browse those spaces. However, there exist many languages for virtual spaces, and thus, application programs are usually specialized for their uses. Such a situation impose the burden to the users, because they have to learn the way to use each application. For this reason, this paper proposes a data model in which representations are independent of any specific virtual space languages. This model uses relationships among objects' location and semantic information of them; whereas it omits detailed information, such as each object's position and its shape. As a result, we can provide an unified way to access various kinds of virtual spaces. In particular, we pick up VRML and 3DML as examples of virtual space language, and show how we can translate those expressions into our data model.
