Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In DWDM system, the time variation of the transmission performance is not neglected. In order to stabilise the time variation, the simple control of the decision threshold at optimum level is one of the important factors not only for the dense equipage of commercial equipment but also for the aspect of cost. We propose the active tracking method for the optimum decision threshold in in-service state by software control, and successfully confirmed that this method suppresses the fluctuation of transmission performance experimentally.
