Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The transmission line consisting of a new class of NZ-DSF and DCF modules has been propesed to enhance the transmission capacity. The NZ-DSF has the effective area over 60 μm^2 and the dispersion of +5~11 ps/nm/km over the S, C, L-band regions. The DCF which compensates for the dispersion and the dispersion slope simultaneously has been realized. To enhance the FOM by enlarging the absolute value of the dispersion is found to be an effective way to reduce the nonlinearity occuring in the DCF.
