Abstract(in English) The transmission performance of 10Gbit/s based long haul DWDM systems using a dispersion managed transmission line was investigated. The system performance is described as a function of the product of the transmission capacity and the transmission distance. The performance degradation due to the increase of the transmission capacity and the transmission distance was approximately 0.5[dB]/[Tbit/s・1000km].
