Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We made a neuromuscular model that achieves dynamical alternation in motor units, i.e. to change the active motor units to reduce the fatigue. The model is a combination of a pulse-drived muscle fiber model and neuron model based on Hodgkin-Huxley equation. It was shown that fluctuation in postsynaptic potential amplitude and mutual inhibition of α motorneurons by Renshaw cells achieves reciprocal use of motor units. And it was possible to get long term period of α motorneuron firing by adjusting the synaptic plasticity parameters.
