Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) FES contracts muscular fibers by electric stimulus pulses artificially generated in the outside instead of impulses being sent to muscular fibers through nerves in a body from a spinal cord, and assists or controls a motive function. In this research, the entire implantable FES system has been developed. Since the miniaturization and low power consumption of the stimulus system are needed, the custom IC design for the electric control circuits has been performed.
