| 抄録(和) | 近年、室内配線が不要で、短期間でネットワーク構築が可能というメリットから、様々な教育機関で無線LANによるネットワークの導入が進んでいる。しかしその反面、無線に使用する電波の干渉や減衰が起こり、円滑な通信が妨げられる場合もあると指摘されている。よって、ネットワーク導入の際に電波伝搬特性を十分に把握しておくことは非常に重要である。本研究では、ノートパソコンを測定機器として用いることにより、伝搬特性を容易に計測できることを示す。また、無線LANを教育システムに導入する際の目安となるデータ取得のために、教育現場の一般的なモデルとして、建物の各教室内や通路、また隣接建物間の電波伝搬について測定を行った。 |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, wireless LAN system has been recognized useful for communication in educational fields because it can be easily introduced without complicating wiring. However, it also has been pointed out that wireless communication may encounter serious problems such as interference or decreasing of the electromagnetic wave. Therefore, it is important to understand how the electromagnetic wave propagates in a classroom, between each rooms, between adjacent buildings, through plants, and so on. In this study, we used a notebook computer to observe a spatial distribution of the communication quality in various situations. Its two dimensional map clearly showed the effect of boundary condition such as wall, window, or other machineries. Further more, the screening effect of the plant was found to be serious in wireless communication. |
