Abstract(in English) Recently, wireless LAN system has been recognized useful for communication in educational fields because it can be easily introduced without complicating wiring. However, it also has been pointed out that wireless communication may encounter serious problems such as interference or decreasing of the electromagnetic wave. Therefore, it is important to understand how the electromagnetic wave propagates in a classroom, between each rooms, between adjacent buildings, through plants, and so on. In this study, we used a notebook computer to observe a spatial distribution of the communication quality in various situations. Its two dimensional map clearly showed the effect of boundary condition such as wall, window, or other machineries. Further more, the screening effect of the plant was found to be serious in wireless communication.
