Development of Introductory Material for Motion Control Technique

Abstract(in English) In machines and robots alike where precision positioning is very important, motors constitute an important element. These motors are mainly brushless or DC, and the major control method for fine positioning is the accumulated error pulse method. It is necessary to explain the basis of this method to those who have just started studying motor control or are involved in designing factory production lines. However, such detailed explanations that would cover analog-digital conversion and complicated processes are very hard to organize. In order to unravel this difficulty, we developed simulation software that incorporates the function of a teaching material for instructors. Based on the assessments by 13 working instructors, outcome of this simulation technique is discussed.
