| 抄録(和) | 我々は, WWW上で動作するオンライン手書き数式入力インタフェースの試作を行った.これは, 我々が研究・開発を進めている数式計算を指導する知的教育システムACTSのインタフェースの役割を担い, WWW上で動作し, 入力受付・表示を行うクライアント部と, 文字や記号の認識を行うサーバ部から構成される.本インタフェースは, ストロークの位置関係と時間間隔に基づく文字の自動切り出し(手書きストロークのグループ化), DDCPM(Directional and Direction-Change Pattern Matching)法を用いた文字・記号認識, 機能ボタンを用いた容易な誤認識修正機能を実装し, ペンを用いた簡便な数式入力環境を提供する. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we describe our on-line handwriting mathematical expression input interface on the WWW. It is an interface for our Algebraic Calculation Tutoring System(ACTS). It consists of a Java-based client, which receivis user's input and displays output, and a C-based server, which recognizes characters and symbols. Our interface provides simple and easy mathematical expression input environment. Its distinctive features are automatic stroke segmentation based on spatial relationship and time intervals of consecutive strokes, character recognition based on DDCPM(Directional and Direction-Change Pattern Matching)method and function buttons which help user's input and correction. |
