Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The specification of SGML was defined by ISO in 2001. It is considered to be a document processing language in the next generation. XML is a subset of SGML and is regarded as the standard of markup language for the Web. HTML has only fixed tags and has no tags which describe mathematical expressions. Users can't define their original tags in HTML. On the other hand, users can define their original tags in XML. MathML is one of the XML's categories specified by ISO. It has two ways of describing mathmatical expressions, one is the presentation style, and the other, the contents style. In this resarch, we mention a programme which convert the presentation style to the contents style in XML.
