Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Temperature dependent optical properties of spin coated films of poly(methylphenylsilane)(PMPS) with and without polystyrene were studied. Both red-shift and intensification of the UV absorption and PL emission peaks were observed above around T_g of PMPS. The annealed film showed the longer λ_ than the as prepared film. Also, the process of the change was found to be irreversible. A polystyrene-blended film behaved similarly the annealed PMPS film. The optical properties were explained by analogy to 7/3 helixed polysilanes.
