Abstract(in English) Effect of different refractive index profiles of an antiguide structure is investigated on enhancement effect in second harmonic wave using a photorefractive crystal, Fe: LiNbO_3. Between the concave lens-type and the step-like profiles of the index distribution, those are prepared by changing the writing beam power, the latter one can only induce the enhancement effect. The mechanism is discussed in terms of the reflection characteristic on the core-clad boundary in the antiguide structure.
