Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Gamma-ray irradiation of poly(dimethylsilane)(PDMS) under oxygen atmosphere yields partially soluble fraction in organic solvents. The solubilized PDMS shows intense UV absorption at 290nm and intense PL emission at 328nm. It contains emissive and non-emissive segments, both increase with increasing gamma irradiation doses. This result may contribute to the use of PDMS as OLED by a wet process.
