Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An electron injection layer of organic EL device was prepared on Alq by Sr metal used as deposition source material. The composition and structure of the electron injection layer was examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). When the composition is like Sr metal by the deposition rate more than 0.7nm/sec and the controlled thickness. the EL intensity and life time of the divice(ITO/PVCz:p-TPD/Alq/Sr/Al)were improved remarkably. And then.the thickness more than 40nm caused diffusion of Sr metal into Alq and red shift of EL emission spectra.
