Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The dioxime metal complex with a square planar configuration form a columnar structure, and often shows unique opto-electronic properties due to its strong interaction between adjacent molecules. We have examined to control the molecular orientation of the one-dimensional compound in the deposited film on a solid substrate with a purpose of improving its photo-electronic properties, such as photo-conductivity. Bis(diphenylglyoximato)platinum(II);Pt(dpg)_2 was deposited on a solid substrate, and its structure was investigated with the relation to the deposition conditions. It was revealed that the faster deposition at lower substrate temperature of the compounds tend to give perpendicular orientation of the one-dimensional column, and the tendency seems to be well related to the nuclear size which glows at the initial stage of the film growth on the substrate.
