Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Organic polysilane-inorganic matrix hybrid thin films -organic polysilane embedded in a glass matrix- were fabricated using a sol-gel method. The luminescence linear polarization memory is found in the hybrid thin films, and is due to the increase in the interchain separation and to the homogeneous dispersion of polysilane chains in the glass matrix. Energy transfer processes in hybrid thin films have been studied by mean of pico-second time resolved photoluminescence measurements.
