Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have constructed a homogeneous two-dimensional sensor array and have developed the sensing system for automatically estimating the direction of gas/odor flow. Here, we studied a digital circuit for automatic estimation of that direction. LMS algorithm was adopted instead of inverse-matrix operation so that its hardware could be easily realized. Many modules with the same circuits composed of adders and multipliers for 1-bit digital signal processing method are connected to each other. The circuit outputs of FPGA agreed well with theoretical ones when the actual data stored in a ROM were input to the circuit.
