Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) From the view point of energy conservation, buildings or houses which have high adiabatic characteristics or high airtight characteristics have been increasing. As the results, what we call sick house syndrome are highly increasing. It is pointed out that one of the main reason of the syndrome is formaldehyde gas evaporated from the adhesive used in the block board. In this study, high performance chemical filter was fabricated by coating the surface of the expanded plastic using polyelectrolytes thin film. The decreasing characteristics of formaldehyde concentration in the closed cell was also examined for various type of chemical filter using polyelectrolytes.
