Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We need to know the material constants and response of a piezoelectric polymer film transducer when the radiated pulse from the transducer is applied to the measurements or imaging. There are many reports on the material constants, but seldom on the response of the piezoelectric polymer film in MHz-band. In this study, using the three hand-made transducers with Bakelite backing, we attempt to measure the response of transducer in 5-50 MHz based on the reciprocity method. The purpose of this measurement is to find out the calibration of the responses in near-field. It is clarified that transmitting responses vary in about 0.2-1.1 kPa/V and the receiving responses decrease as frequency is high.
