Abstract(in English) | It is considered that the energy gap value of polysilane mainly depends on the conformation of the silicon backbone. It is also considered that the band gap value becomes larger from all-trans to alternating gauche-trans and helical conformation. In this paper, molecular structure of polysilane with alternating gauche-trans conformation is studied in order to analyze the relation between the conformation of the silicon backbone and the band gap value. And we describes the molecular structure and packing of polysilanes. |
