Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dithallium phthalocyanine (Tl_2Pc) thin film was prepared by vacuum deposition on KCI single-crystalline substrate. Tl_2Pc was sublimed without thermal decomposition. Its structure and epitaxy were examined by electron microscopy. The structure of the thin film deposited on KCl was the orthorhombic structure reported already. The film grew epitaxially on KCl substrate as expected from point-on-line coincidence. The UV-VIS spectrum of the thin film of Tl_2Pc showed some differences in relative intensity of absorption bands from that of the powder in the visible region, which was considered to be resulted from molecular orientation in the film. Measurement of UV-VIS spectra for Tl_2Pc thin film at low temperatures was also performed, where the absorption band around 875 nm was found to shift to longer wavelength side with lowering temperature.
