Abstract(in English) We examined the I-V characteristic of metal/polyimide/rhodamine-dendorimer/ polyimide/metal element made by the LB technique. A step structure was observed in the I-V characteristic at a temperature of 29.8K, and this result was discussed based on a single electron tunneling process. To determine the energy diagram of the element, we also examined the dipole moment of rhodamine-dendorimer monolayer on a water surface, assuming a model that half of the rhodamine-dendorimer molecule is immersed in the water.
