Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have studied TPD evaporated films as hole transported material of organic electroluminescent devices and carried out in-situ electric field effect (FET) measurements. From the FET measurements, TPD films indicated p-type semiconducting properties without the effect of atmosphere and impurities, and their electrical parameters such as conductivity, carrier mobility and carrier concentration were obtained. Furthermore, oxygen gas had influence on these electrical parameters. Experimental results by changing the substrate temperature and thermal annealing turned out that these electrical parameters deteriorated when the substrate temperature rose over the grass transition temperature.
