Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It was observed that rust did not develop on a piece of iron placed in effective micro-organisms applied extract (EM-X). Furthermore, it was found that the weight of iron increased in the solution. There was also no generation of rust on the surface of iron in a water soluble mineral. In this case, the color of iron sheet changed to dark brown, and its weisht slightly decreased. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a trend toward weights reduction of iron placed in a distilled water, an electrolytic solution of NaCl (3wt%), and various kinds of acids.
