Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Reagentless phosphate sensing system based on phosphate binding protein (PBP) was proposed. PBP was immobilized on a porous membrane and the membrane potential change was measured with use of H type cell and Ag/AgCl electrode. The membrane potential change was observed selectively to phosphate. Linear relationship between membrane potetial and phosphate concentration was observed in the range of 0.2-5OmM. PBP was immobiliaed to the surface of Au electrode modified with cysteamine. This electrode showed much larger potential change to phosphate than other ions.
