Abstract(in English) | We established "Reprecipitation method" as a technique for fabricatin gorganic microcrystals. and succeeded in preparing microcrystals for various kinds of organic materials with high disspersion stability and good optical transparency. In polydiacetylene (PDA) microcrystals, it was possible to control the crystal size in range from ca.1O nm to several micrometers by changing concentration of injected solution or by adding surfactants. Microcrystal-dispersed thin film with good optical quality and high density was obtained by dipping a polycation-coated glass substrate into negatively changed microcrystal dispersion. This film showed quite high nonlinear refrative index of 5.4cm^2/GW,which indicates the possibility of optial switching using megawatt-order light intensity |
